Friday night disturbance results in one arrest
A man was charged with assault following a fight reportedly involving 10 people, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Department.

The department said in the release that the driver of the van was identified as Arrington Lee Bowers, 43, of Columbia, a Columbia resident.
He was indicted on a charged d of with one count of of second-degree assault Assault 2nd and anotherone count of third-degree assault one count Assault 3rd.
The release stated that Bowers also allegedly punched another female in the face during the fight.
The two femaleswomen who were assaulted did not receive serious injuries and were evaluated by medical personnel at the scene, according to the release.
Bowers was released from the Boone County Jail after posting a $5,000 bond.
